Legality of freelancing for an in-state IT recruiter?
Hello.
I work as a recruiter in a large IT company. I have sufficient experience and I want to completely switch to freelance in this direction in the future. My question to IT-recruiters-professionals-freelancers is this: Do I have the right, being officially registered in the staff of the Company, to earn extra money as a freelancer in my spare time? That is, the question is the legitimacy and legality of such actions.

What a question, in their free time everyone does what they want. Unless your employment contract explicitly states otherwise.
Nothing of the kind is clearly spelled out in the contract, but ... after all, it turns out that to some extent, I will use the company's resources, that is, the accumulated base, other Internet resources paid by the company? ...
It all depends purely on your employment contract, we usually stipulate that this cannot be done
If this does not violate your employment contract with the employer and the interests of your workers under the contract do not intersect with the interests that you are engaged in in your free time, then everything is OK.
But, I think, you want to essentially do what you do at work, but in freelance mode. I advise that everything be fair with the employer, to offer him to switch to a piecework model of work. That is, you will freelance and your ex-employer will be your first client. Try to survive in this mode and you won't have to fool anyone. If your management is sound, it may well agree - this is more profitable than keeping you on the staff and paying only according to the result. If it works out, gradually recruit other clients and diversify the risks :) Well, if it doesn't work out, discuss with the management the possibility of returning to the state after some trial period.
