Lectures on multimedia technologies, where to get?

Good afternoon.
I was offered to read lectures at the university in the discipline of multimedia technology.
Where can I find material for lectures, I would like something very basic, but modern, you don’t need a lot of material, just the basics.
For practice, I figured out what students will do, but I can’t find a good theory, maybe someone has already been puzzled by this problem, help.

In the university library, look for: books, manuals, lecture courses. If the university has access to the EBS, look there. In the programs of disciplines on the subject, lists of references can be found. You should not forget about educational standards for specialties either.
Another way is to look for online courses online.
But keep in mind that the course may be aimed at a different audience than your students.
For example, on the site the course is given for techies, and you need to read for the humanities. In such a situation, students may not have the basic knowledge of the presentation of graphics and multimedia in a PC in order to understand the essence of the “obvious” concepts that you will operate with while giving a lecture.

If there was no such course before, then finding material for lectures is a very time-consuming task, even if you are well versed in the material.
I am now teaching the subject "Software Testing" at the masters.
There are similar subjects in other universities, but few where. Textbooks - generally one, written by Kotlyarov for St. Petersburg State Technical University. Therefore, I invent lectures myself. 4-5 hours of lecture preparation result in a 45-minute story/show.
