Learning neural networks or deepening in Python?

I am learning python now. Almost finished the course on the book, what to do next? To go even deeper into python or go to the study of neural networks (which I really wanted), gradually slowly delving into jap? and in general, what knowledge is needed to study neural networks?

I suppose that such questions (where to move) are connected with a misunderstanding of why to move.
you need to decide why you are studying something, I advise you to start solving some applied problems, start writing your own projects, or participate in other people's interesting open source projects on github, in any case, start working on very specific tasks, it may turn out that neural networks are especially for you and they won’t be needed (no matter how tempting the surrounding hype is, in machine learning there are many other methods for successfully solving problems), maybe even a python will not be particularly needed. Maybe you need more specific projects and experience in solving applied problems.
