Laptop won't turn on?
Laptop - you press the On button - the button lights up and goes out. The laptop itself does not react at all - the screen is not on, the cooler is silent.
Background: vaio pro 13 laptop. The cooler was noisy - I decided to take a look. Took it off and put it back on. Plugs are not mixed up.
What I tried:
1) changed the thermal paste.
2) checked all connections (even others)
3) pulled out the battery, waited for the residual charge to "disappear" and put it back in.
4) I pulled out the battery and connected it only through the power cord. I measured the voltage - everything goes to the motherboard as it should.
5) I rang the cooler sensor
. I understand that some kind of protection is triggered. But I don't know what else to try.

To service.
I had similar symptoms when my aunt spilled tea on the laptop, and the touchpad area got water on the motherboard. It turned out that the chips very effectively suck in water for themselves, and even warming up with a hair dryer does not save.
As a result, the replacement of part of the chips on the motherboard.
> I understand that some kind of protection works.
And as I understand it, you broke something by accident, where does it have some kind of protection and what does the thermal paste have to do with it?
And what exactly and how difficult it is to fix - this is HZ, but they could do anything, in principle.
But you need to try to start with a simple one, like a RAM bar, suddenly the contact went away there.
In addition to the service, they can help on the profile forum, maybe someone had a similar case ...
If all the cables are in place, see if there are any chips or cracks on the laptop CPU.
If they pulled out the matrix cable with the battery inserted, they could burn the chips.
