Laptop using wrong microphone?

I have a combined input, there is no microphone in the headphones, it is broken, but the laptop swaps its main microphone and the microphone from the headphones, as a result, there is no new microphone, it simply replaces the microphone built into the laptop with the microphone in the headphones, how can I use the headphones and microphone from the laptop ?

If the laptop has a combined headphone output, as a rule there is an interface control software in which you can choose what to plug in, headphones or a headset.
