Laptop crash and error 0xc000000f?
The laptop (HP pavilion g6 1162er) dropped from the height of the desk while it was on. There are no external damages on the case. There was an hdd error at startup, but after selecting the boot source from the hard disk in the BIOS (which is a little strange), grub started (two OS, Windows and Linux). When starting Windows 8, a blue screen appears with error 0xc000000f. Linux started only for the first time, then it also stopped starting. An attempt to reinstall the OS does not work, it hangs at the very beginning of the installation.
What could be the reason? I'm leaning towards a hard drive failure.

Google seems to say that 0xc000000f is Windows failed to load because the system registry is missing or corrupt?
Probably true HDD. Buy an SSD, they are cheap already.
When it crashed, I installed Linux on itself, funny =)
Check the hard drive for serviceability, HP sews this check into the BIOS.
