Lack of education and use of startx?

I read the forum about the fact that my tty did not return to the shell graph, and they gave me advice to enter startx ... I entered it as a result, my graph interface settings were completely knocked down ... how can I return everything back to normal?

/etc/init.d/gdm restart
/etc/init.d/lightdm restart
/etc/init.d/mdm restart
In short, look for which dm you need to run.
