L2TP + OpenVPN = Not working
Hello.
There is Internet connected via L2TP on the router (Asus N16) iMac, MBP, Windows 7 PC are connected to it via Wi-Fi.
I raise OpenVPN on the computer and something strange happens: ping is OK, traceroute is OK, telnet to port 80 is OK, Skype is OK, and the browser and all other software does not work .
I tried several different OpenVPN configs - exactly the same.
Also, there is another Internet provider connected via PPPoE, everything is OK on it (without changing the settings).
Tell me, please, what could be the problem?
Thanks in advance.
UPD. The solution was found, it was only necessary to lower the MTU from 1500 to 1200 in the OpenVPN configs.
Thanks to all!

So far, the feeling is that after establishing an OpenVPN connection, you receive static routes from the dhcp server on the other side that conflict with the correct ones for your network.
Maybe a problem like this ?
I used to have such a thing, a trifle works, pings, small sites (try ya.ru ), I haven’t tried Skype, it was a long time ago, a big one is a plug.
And why exactly up to 1200? Most likely it will be enough to lower it by several bytes-tens of bytes.
