Kyocera 1125 scan to bmp?

Kyocera 1125 only scans in bmp and there is no option to save to jpg. drivers from the site. twin don't work. wia only in bmp. what can be scanned or how to make it scan itself in jpg?

run the native driver installation via setup.exe
There, in addition to the drivers (by the way, I recommend reinstalling via drivers from it), there is a "kyocera client tool" utility,
install it, run it and configure the scan settings.
You can set up three different scanning profiles for the buttons on the panel with autosave to different folders you need for ease of use - in the future (when the client tool is running), everything is scanned by selecting the program and pressing the start button.
For "manual scanning" use appropriate programs. (see clarification from @SyavaSyava)
Even "fax and scan" (windows 7 and above, built-in) can do in png\bmp\jpg

To scan, use XnView, and for the twain driver to work, you need to go to the web interface of the MFP and check the box to use the twain driver.
