Kubuntu 18.04 Firefox 60.0.1, profiles from Windows, doesn't save passwords, why?

profiles are transferred from Windows, the vast majority of sites are allowed, apparently by cookies (which will one day become obsolete), and therefore, in fact, I did not immediately notice the presence of a problem
where to dig? remove and check the box "save passwords" already tried
ps profile "from 0" saves, but there are a lot of profiles, there are plugins, design settings ... somehow I would like it to be simpler .. ;((

@mindtester

if Windows remains, then 95 percent will work ...
in order for password synchronization to work, you need to set the master password in the settings in the fox first on the windows copy and after the data is synchronized, set the master password in the fox on kubunt,
this master password will always be requested at startup foxes and if it is entered correctly, synchronized passwords will be shown
