Joomla 2.5 > 3.6 content migration options?

I spent 3 days trying and searching for information, I didn’t get a result (
The task is as follows:
1. There is a site on Joomla! 2.5.28 (the material we need is stored: menus, categories, pages)
2. There is a site on Joomla! 3.6 (on new styles and new CMS)
Need to transfer all content 1>2
Tried to use the database (nothing happened)
