Your blog from scratch, is that right?

Hello,
You can often find videos on YouTube that show the creation of your blog or cms from scratch, but does it make sense to keep sites written in this way?
Or is it better to use ready-made cms, and these videos will only help you understand how everything works?

Dear you, my person, for example, in my development, by the way, I specialize in e-commerce for small businesses, in most cases I use self-written crm / cms systems, which I wrote in courses from scratch. Due to the fact that initially I did not dabble in either frameworks or industrial systems a la bitrix, I understand quite well how native php works and what will come out of the code. It seems to me that this is a very important quality of a developer, to be able to write from scratch, on one condition: it is expedient.

The previous post is bull's-eye. Writing from scratch today is the dumbest choice.
If you are not a company with space-specific tasks - CMS or frameworks will always suit you. The only moment is the correct choice of the latter for your tasks.
You can't single-handedly write a CMS that's better than it was written by several professionals with test coverage, lots of detail, and so on. And you will not test it the way a community of many thousands did.

The path of any beginner phpshnik begins with writing his first CMS. The sooner he leaves this idea, the more energetically he will begin to develop as a professional.

Learning to program on YouTube is at least stupidity, at most a huge mistake. It makes sense to write a blog from scratch only for self-study and only if you later port everything to a ready-made CMS
