Choosing cms for a simple site?

Hello! Need advice from knowledgeable people.
I am going to transfer my modest business to the Internet and for this I am going to order the development of the site.
Task:
Develop a simple site, similar to selling pages, only with a personal account and connecting a payment module (it has not yet been decided which one). The functionality is minimal, the main page with a catalog of 16 products and a personal account, where the purchased products will be indicated.
The desire to see fast loading pages and data protection is no less a priority.
Question:
Is it worth using to create cms if the site does not require frequent updates and changes.
If so, which ones to choose? While leaning towards modx.

MODX is the right choice. Super convenient admin panel, customization of everything and everyone, and a high level of security.
Self-writing is not the best option, if only because then it is not so easy to find those who want to modify someone else's code. Well, unjustifiably (in this case) more expensive, both at the start and in support.
