Hey Habr!

Recently I encountered such a task that the animation in progress on jQuery needs to be stopped, subject: how it is done, in which direction to study the material. I will be glad to live examples so that you can see the code.

For a better understanding of what I mean, I show a video from which it can be seen that if you quickly click on the "search tools" button, the animation will not end, but go in the opposite direction. I really want to understand the technique of such an implementation.
