Issues with the intel video driver in Debian Wheezy (3.2.0-4-amd64). How to put 1920x1080?

Help me get the video driver to work on a not-so-new kernel.
The maximum supported resolution is currently 1280x1024.
What needs to be done to put 1920x1080 ?

@Frankenstine

I don’t know why, but you don’t use the Intel driver, instead of it - VESA, which can’t do it anymore.
It might help to fade the vesa.
