Is wcf still alive?

Good day to all!
Is wcf still relevant or are there other newer analogues of this technology on .net?

There are analogues. Web API, SignalR. Whether he's alive or not is up to you. There is documentation. There are no new features there, since Microsoft has not developed it since 2010.

An example of creating a WCF service . And comments, of course.

This question really freaked me out. The most excellent architecture for a web application - soa (service oriented), was built using wcf. I really didn’t like using the web api for these purposes, maybe I’m somehow not preparing it correctly, but personally it’s not convenient for me.
When I began to write under .net core, it turned out that in order to connect wcf, you need to install a third-party extension for visual studio. But recently I reinstalled the system, downloaded the latest versions of everything that is possible, and I no longer found this extension. Now I just don't know how to connect wcf in .net core projects :)
SignalR is advised here, I'll go read
