What platform to use for developing android applications?

Hello! The guys need to make an application on android - a trite widget that pulls (API) information from the site.
I write (have experience) in c#, what platform (IDE) should I choose to create an android application? To be optimal - a less buggy IDE, more supported, popular (documentation is enough) well, and supported .NET in order to learn syntax less.
If you can write such an app/widget, please mention it in a comment.

IDEA is good, but they really did something in the latest releases, maybe it works better on more powerful hardware with ssd ... otherwise Android Studio should not be afraid of Java, the differences in the syntax are not very significant (no sugar)
