Is using jQuery and its libraries a normal practice in Nuxt.js?

Hi everybody!

I want to add a slick slider to the project on nuxt.js, there is some kind of vue-slick slider on npm, and now a question has arisen.
Is it considered bad practice to use jQuery in this kind of projects, or is it worth taking what is developed for Vue?

in the dock there is an example of connecting the jq plugin

but if the plugin is under vue, then it is much more convenient to use it
