Is this a 3d model or a drawing? What program does this kind of thing?

Many designers know about templates to showcase their portfolio, be it a logo or corporate identity. Always wondered how these templates are made? Of course, some can be drawn or photographed, and then finalized in Photoshop for a changeable template. But still I would like to know. What is the easiest way to make such a model (examples on screenshots)? Maybe in photoshop, where is the 3d function? Or is it better to use 3ds max? Someone said that many models are a photograph of a real object. But I think it's too complicated. It's easier to model.

These are mockups (English mock-up, mockup). There are a lot of them on the network for free, paid, paid for free, etc. Add the desired word to the mockup request and you will find the desired mockup.
And they are made partly based on photographs, and partly in three-dimensional editors (3D Max, Cinema4D, etc., who knows what) or using all of the above tools - it all depends on the desired result. It is often not difficult to distinguish what is done in what by their appearance.
