Is there enough cores for virtualization?

I plan to buy a dell inspiron 17 7000 (7778)
www.dell.com/ru/p/inspiron-17-7778-2-in-1-laptop/p...
With the following specifications:
Processor: Intel Core i7 2500 MHz Skylake ( 6500U)
Number of cores: 2
Bus/Cache: 4 Mb L2 (L3) Cache
RAM: 12288 MB DDR4-2133 MHz
Video card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 940MX, 2048+1632 MB Add. card: Intel HD Graphics 520, 64 + 1632 MB

I will use the laptop for IOS development using virtualization (VMware) (development is carried out in a running Mac OS image) Is there
enough cores for virtualization, taking into account the processor Intel Core i7 2500 MHz Skylake (6500U )?

PS do not offer to take macbook air / pro

It will be fine if you don't put too much pressure on it. But still, the MacBook is the best laptop in the world.
