Is there any liability for participating in the development of illegal sites?

Good day.
I came across a vacancy where they pay excellent (above the market) and are generally ready to take it, but the trouble is, they develop illegal services. Online casinos are just the tip of the iceberg, there are services in TOR (dudos services and email spam).

Actually the question is, is there any responsibility for participating in the development of sites and services with obviously illegal content?

Thanks in advance.

A favorite qualification in an indictment (as well as in a motion for arrest pending trial, etc) is "as part of an organized group." Do not renounce the bag and the prison)

There is a moral responsibility. I noticed on my own that the more useless (and here it turns out to be even negatively useful) the service for society (or part of society), the faster you burn out. At some point, you will start to think.

Jurisdiction is in question. For example, a product made by a Russian programmer is completely legal in Russia, but violates privacy standards in European countries.
Making a product is one thing.
Its operation is a completely different task and a different circle of persons responsible for this, excluding the developer.
There is also the concept of "knowingly criminal intent", when the developer is initially aware of the villainous intentions of the customer, and this question on the toaster and in the caches of search engines is proof of this.
Disclaimer. I am far from expert in legal matters and all of the above is just a desire to reflect.

There is a wording in the composition of an organized group and complicity.
You see what it's for. Try to prove that it's not in business.
