Is there an extremely simple shell for Linux?

Здраствуйте. Имеется довольно старый ПК 2000 годов. Хотелось бы задействовать его и поставить туда Ubuntu Server/Debian. Для удобной работы надо бы поставить какую-нибудь простую оболочку (мультизадачность, просто screen не очень подходит). Для ПК с 128 МБ оперативной памяти как мне кажется, нужно что-то псевдографическое либо легковесное аля Windows 3.11 :) . Поискав в гугле, ничего толкового не нашел. Что подскажете?

ion3, if you understand the management. With all the necessary features of WM-s, nothing is easier.
Well, debian will have to be installed on the 6th or something like that (in general, it would be 5th, but there is already quite old software).
Only one hell of a browser there, none of them will start. Even midori / qupzilla are already under two hundred eaten without tabs.

bash, because the graphics (X) on such a volume of RAM will theoretically start, but the software will no longer start.
You can install Windows XP, the least resource-intensive option, you can find the old software, but forget about the browser. Also, it's not linux.
And in terms of electricity costs for several months, this option will be clearly more expensive than some Raspberry Pi, which will be much more powerful.
