Is there an equivalent of Open Server for Linux?

It's not just about LAMP . Interested in the ability to quickly switch between several versions of software (different branches of Apache, Nginx, PHP, MySQL), for testing scripts in various combinations of environments.

virtualbox (emnip, vagrant only works "on top" of it), it seems to me too "heavy" for this task. In my opinion, there are only LXC and files

Unfortunately, nothing comes to mind that would be out of the box.
Perhaps vagrantup.com/ will somehow help, but of course there will be a lot of movement there.
Specifically for mysql there is mysqlsandbox.net/
