There is a local network with several computers with Windows 8.1 and 10 and a linux server with a large storage available via smb.
There is a need for a full-text search on the contents of all computers. Now all the disks of each computer are shared for this, and for such a search you have to go to each one and search in each through the explorer. Accordingly, everything does not work quickly, it takes a lot of time.
Is there a program that allows you to index and search through the contents of all disks of computers on a local network? Maybe a program installed as a service on each computer that collects data from these services, or indexes shared disks, or something else?
