The meetup.ru domain is busy and there is nothing there, there is some kind of social network “Contacts” on meet-up.ru, I did not find analogues in the search engine, maybe there is a startup working on this topic? And what do you think, can this project be relevant in Russia?

Feligz, I, too, have recently begun to be interested in this issue, and have not yet come across analogues. I will allow myself to disagree with previous commentators, on the contrary, it seems to me that such a project has a great future. You just need to do something original. Facebook and VK are still focused on other types of services, and organizing events with their help is not entirely convenient and does not look professional. I think that a hybrid of Eventbrite and Meetup would be very well received in Russia. I myself would be happy to develop such a project, but I am far from the web industry and do not know how to approach it.
