Is there an AdBlock for the gateway?
Good day to all.
There is a wonderful AdBlock extension for Chrome/FF/Opera browsers that cuts annoying ads from websites. The solution works great for browsers, everything suits, but ... you need to do the same within the local network.
There is a gateway on Debian 6 Squeeze, through which all users of the local network go to the Internet. Is it possible somehow to apply all AdBlock rules on the gateway to block ads in general on all network clients?
The solution in the forehead is to import the entire adblock list on iptables. I already tried this, I leave it as an extreme option, because. Internet access is quite slow.
Solving the problem in an organizational way - writing instructions or running around users, is also an option, but of the 3rd plan, because. users are stupid and constantly trying to get me drunk with something (from tea to cognac) :-).
PS: I am very superficially familiar with network administration, so I will be grateful for the most detailed how to

Here is a wonderful proxy that allows you to filter content.

The most optimal solution is to wrap all employees on a proxy (as an option, squid) and load the adblock filter from the proxy file. If there are few employees, you can go over everyone and set up a proxy; Another option is to set up a "transparent proxy", but then there will be a problem with HTTPS, for which you need to generate a certificate.
I have Sophos UTM (former astaro) worth it. Mode ads. Not as good of course as adblock, but enough + checks everything that passes through it for viruses and blocks porn
