Is there already something similar (Yii Admin)?
There was an idea to create a module that will generate forms and lists for working with standard data in the admin panel.
As I see the mechanism of work:
- there is a certain file (xml or array) that describes all the entities (they are also tables in the database), fields, relationships of the fields of entities, and the type of display of the field in editing the entity (date, textarea, list, etc.). e)
- at startup, we go through the file, compare the structure of the database, if necessary, generate migrations
- then display a list or edit form of the selected entity upon request
- no generation of models and controllers occurs, only one model and controller is responsible for everything
- if necessary, add models and controllers for those entities that work with is not included in the standard functionality
Is there already something similar? And is it worth bothering with writing this bike?
