And that was a sad experience - I took a VPS but could not launch the site corny. Advise hosters with tariffs for VPS with configuration without a console - to get working php + the necessary modules right away. Thank you.

Even LAMP will be installed on the VPS, but there is no experience or knowledge of UNIX systems, then nothing good will come of it. Take either an Managed VPS or a VPS with a panel installed (for example, VestaCP is absolutely free and quite reliable, the interface is simple and clear).

Perhaps, when ordering a server, you need to add it, and more often it goes right away.
If you have little knowledge, then it makes sense to take vip-shared, not VDS/VPS
(attention! it should NOT be cheaper than VPS/VDS, but even a little more expensive, because this is VPS/VDS + an additional service, additional work of host admins ).
