Is there a project that talks about all the stages of production, the end goal of which is a PC?

I was interested in the following question, is there a book or a series of television programs that would tell about all the stages of production, the ultimate goal of which was to create the latest generation of personal computers?
How do I imagine it?
The task was set: to find the best way to create a computer (preferably the latest model possible) using all the knowledge and data that are available to us now at the moment. There is only one limitation - the use of tools, productions and components is not available. All stages should be shown (extraction of minerals, their processing into the final product) and the minimum production of those tools that will eventually create a PC should be established. As a result, the computer should be connected to the electrical network and should start with the string "hello world".
What for?
It became very interesting, and, I'm sure, it would be no less interesting for others to see and consider in detail all the nuances that follow before the creation of motherboards, monitors, transistors, diodes, plastics (a little chaotic, but this is the first thing that came to mind .. . only serves as an example). Tried to find something similar, but to no avail. I hope that something similar already exists or will appear in the very near future (thoughts, after all, are material, and only time separates the idea from implementation).
What is meant by "last generation personal computer"?
Minimal peripherals (monitor, keyboard) and system unit (power supply, motherboard, processor, RAM, graphical interface).
