Buzzer in the computer
The usual system unit running windows 2003.
The accountants noticed that he was squeaking.
Thought that the UPS, it turned out that the internal beeper on the motherboard.
It squeaks all the time, I didn’t notice any periodicity, it can be silent for a while, then it continues again.
The beeper, unfortunately, does not unhook - it is soldered to the motherboard.
I myself see this for the first time, and I can not understand why it is, and how to deal with it.
Please tell me what to do with it.

How are the options
No speakers and Windows at the same time sounding the system sounds on the speaker? Check the sound scheme. Stop Windows before loading and listen if there are sounds without Windows.
Does the motherboard signal a problem with the devices? Turn off the flopik physically and in the BIOS ... Maybe pull something out of the hardware, look for a problem like that ...
In the BIOS, the speaker does not turn off?
There may also be a problem in the temperature sensor - you can set the temperature limit higher through the BIOS so that it does not work in vain.
Constant squeak - problems with the PSU. Measure the voltage with a multimeter: +12v, +5v, +3.3v, +3.3v sense, +5v sb, power_ok (should be +5v), -12v, -5v (if any). Usually, if one of the voltages deviates strongly, there are problems with the PSU, change it.
The BIOS can monitor the fan stop and squeak at the same time. If the fan has not been cleaned and lubricated for a long time, it may jam, and the system will signal a drop in speed below the permissible one.
Does the accountant work for an hour not in 1C through the terminal? ;)
