Is there a program to show random reminders/text on the desktop?

Such a thing: I have a set of different (lines of text), paragraphs of various texts and pictures. They contain various useful information that it is desirable to view every day. It's like a reminder, but the program should show reminders (text, if also pictures, it will be very cool) every day in random order, it should take the text and everything else from the "database" that I compiled in advance. To put it in an analogy, it's like a screensaver that shows random images from your hard drive. Only the program should not take up the entire screen, like a screensaver, so that I can work normally on the computer.
The program is needed for Windows 7. It will be very good if there is one for iOS (iphone 4).

Everything can be done primitively, but quite well.
Write text on the picture to fit your screen resolution, and include these "reminders" in your wallpaper list. They will change after a given time.
I hope you like this method.
PS There are programs that can set more precise presets for changing the desktop. I haven't used them myself so I can't recommend a good one.
