Good afternoon. I am doing a course project on the theory of machines and mechanisms. In the process of solving, my answers do not converge (what exactly is not important). I am looking for a program in which one could set variables and expressions and perform automated calculations. This is due to the fact that you have to manually highlight the changing values ​​of the variable in bold in Microsoft Word, search for this variable and recalculate all expressions where this variable is used. And if the calculated value changes, then this step is repeated.
Requirements:

• Support for variables and auto calculation. Those. MatLab is not very suitable, because either restart the script every time or manually update all expressions

Desirable requirements:

• Support for text with superscripts and subscripts.

In it should work like Excel, but it is desirable to output data like in Word, i.e. I don’t want to run and look for what this or that cell means.

It doesn't have to be something Word-like. I would love to use MatLab if there was something like symbolic variables. An important goal is automated calculation, because running around the entire document in Word-e and looking for a variable is not a good idea (after 2 times I was already tired). This is necessary to find an error in my course project, document generation is not required. In general, I could try all the products, but perhaps someone has come across this kind of problem and does not want to pollute the system.
