Is there a (preferably free) video recorder for the monitor?

It is important for me that I can see what I did a minute ago, if for example I did not have time to figure out that the banner is interesting. Or something that I sent 5 minutes ago, but was deleted (punto switcher will not suit me!).
What does video recorder mean? So it's a rewrite. Let's say that what was an hour ago is overwritten by what is now.
Technically like CamStudio. Just the DVR. Thanks to

The NVidia GeForce Experience includes Shadowplay, which uses a hotkey to write a screen recording of the last time to disk (from 5 seconds to 20 minutes, everything is configurable), not supported by all cards.
If you want a separate piece of iron - google "hdmi video recorder", there are a dozen different ones.
