Is there a port of DalvikVirtualMachine on Linux?

Searching on google for a Dvm port, I found only this:

2. android execution environment (from canonical, but no more than a name...)
Well, is it possible to build dvm from sources, or is there a ready-made port for the full launch of android applications? (No emulation, no SDK)
