Is there a new version of the Active Directory Design Guide?

There is this wonderful document:

Active Directory
Design Guide

As you can see, he's from a time when the grass was greener. Is there a new guide that takes into account the specifics of virtualization, etc.? Or have since decided not to release an updated version.
PS When you try to search Google, other documents are issued (manuals for individual systems, and not a single document on AD DS for 100+ pages).
