Is there a laptop with an E-Ink screen?
I work a lot, and everything is via ssh. I thought about the "economy of vision." Does it exist in nature? Or a reader with a clave on the long side, or with a clip-on, like a tablet? Google is almost silent... I think Linux admins would appreciate it)

As a Linux admin, I evaluate: you are fucked up and have no idea what you are talking about.
If your terminal flickers the entire screen when updating each letter or refrains from doing so, but leaves traces of the deleted letter and all the lines that have shifted upward, you will break your eyes on such ergonomics in a week. Or you will break this E-Ink, unable to withstand such work at all.
Electronic ink is for static text, completely static.
If your terminal is static, then you opened it in vain.
Google about myths.
It has already been found out that e-ink does not save eyesight in any way compared to modern conventional LCD screens. It’s just that you don’t need to twist the brightness on the screen, and ideally make lighting nearby without flickering so that the screen does not stand out too much against the background of a dark apartment / office.
Even on Habré there was a lot of controversy in the comments, after which I realized that there really were no researched evidence that Eink was saving money somehow.
I just bought myself a table lamp with a high-quality light bulb (no flicker), and adjusted the brightness - it became good. Picked up the font and size - it was fine.
Sometimes I drip moisturizing drops like optinol (consider ordinary water slightly salty, an analogue of a tear), from drying out, but this can be replaced with an air humidifier.
Elink has a disgusting contrast, contrast is one of the main causes of vision loss. Good luck.
ps do not quit smoking - this is for wimps.
Is there a laptop with an E-Ink screen? ...or reader
There is no laptop with e-ink as the main display. There is only as an auxiliary, like the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus.
But you can connect an external e-ink monitor to the laptop. Max size 42"
For example, Onyx Boox Max 2
