Is it possible to scroll the browser window horizontally with the mouse wheel (say, with the hotkey pressed) on defaults?

in Chrome/Firefox you need to hold Shift to scroll horizontally

firefox has autoscroll on MMB click.
there are additions in chrome for autoscrolling and there it seems possible (I don’t remember / haven’t used it for a long time) to set up hotkeys
