Is there a difference in response time between a virtual server and a dedicated one?
I am a high frequency trader. For me, Ultra Low Latency is important and that's it.
In addition to minimizing network delays and finding optimal communication channels, I thought about the issue of reducing server response time.
The question is: how much will the response time of a dedicated server on which a bare Windows Server is installed differ from the response time of the UPU? Provided that the amount of computing resources allocated for the VPS is similar to the resources of a dedicated server. Service providers pour into their ears that there is no difference, like let's take our super powerful UPU as soon as possible.
The algorithm of work is approximately the following: the server receives two data streams over the network and compares them, as soon as a certain condition is met, the server must react and submit a buy order. (Arbitrage trading)
