Is there a demand for software data recovery from media?

Good day to all!
As a student, he worked on repairs of PCs and equipment. There he became interested in recovering data from the HDD and all sorts of flash media. And the flash drives and hard drives themselves were restored as best they could (not a laboratory, after all).
Now I have moved to the city of Novosibirsk, I work, I earn extra money on freelance. Now I'm thinking about something else. And while I’m studying the language (which one doesn’t matter now), I started thinking about data recovery again. Of course, I don’t organize a laboratory at home, and, for example, after the magnetic heads fall, I won’t help (if only because such cleanliness as in a laboratory cannot be arranged at home). But after viruses, formatting, the collapse of the file system, the appearance of bad blocks and even a controller glitch in a usb flash drive, I can handle this. Several companies operate in the city, prices vary greatly, and there is one direct LABORATORY. Actually, the question is from experience - is it worth it in such conditions to organize a place for yourself and do it as a permanent part-time job?
PS I know about the phrase "If there are doubts - it's better not to take it," but I'll still be very glad to hear something from experience.

If there are already competitors, it will be difficult, but you can try. Although I would look for something else. Would develop freelance, for example.

IMHO the value of personal data has fallen significantly in recent years due to the development of cloud storage technology. Although there are still idiots who do not backup their family shit photos to the cloud.
I’ll add more, for the majority it’s like: music - on the Vkontakte page, pictures - in Vkontakte albums. On a personal computer, only game saves (and even more people go to consoles) and porn.
Therefore, this KMC market has narrowed down to greedy small legal entities that use ancient technology, but you can’t raise money from them.
