Is there a chance to become a popular js, html/css freelance programmer given the huge competition?

Hello, I learned to typeset and now I'm learning javascript by practicing.
But I have two questions.

1. I go to freelancing and see all sorts of orders on the front-end topic, of course.
And it seems to me that having learned javascript, I still won’t be able to complete these freelance orders. Am I thinking right?
I just wished that when I learned javascript, I could fulfill any orders on the front-end theme naturally.
If I learn javascript, will it be possible to be able to complete all front-end orders?
Or will it be necessary to know some new technology for each order?

2. I studied orders on various freelance exchanges. And on each order there was at least 1 bet. And given such great competition, will it be possible to become a popular freelance programmer so that customers come to you themselves?

Am I on the right path to learning javascript for a career? Will I be able to freelance with confidence by learning javascript? And be in demand?

Am I on the right path to learning javascript for a career?

If in a company - then yes , if freelance - no.
Will I be able to freelance with confidence by learning javascript?

No, no one uses javascript itself (meaning not the layout of typical landing pages that cost 3 kopecks, but more complex projects in the form of SPA ), they use over 1000+ libraries and solutions that twist js under the hood. In order to validly apply them to a specific business task, you need a level not lower than middle as a developer, and a level not lower than an average manager - in order to sell all this for a good price.
And be in demand?

Study for 2-3 years, preferably after the 1st year of study as quickly as possible to get: a) an internship, b) a job.

Considering how inflated the topic is around front-end development and the saturation of the market with newcomers who are trying to break into this area, it is worth choosing another programming language for freelancing. My personal opinion is this.

If in a web macaque - on the right one :) The problem is that in freelancing you are your own big boss, senior, middle and junior. And also an HR and an accountant and even a secretary who conducts business correspondence :) Therefore, freelancing is usually good for those who can be both a senior and a big boss equally well. Otherwise - in a web macaque, plow for a pack of doshik for days :)

I am a designer and I work with layout designers, in fact, there is a request for smart workbenches that can make svg l, lottie animations, and these are not cheap landing pages, but you can earn quite adequate money. The same area of real estate where some kind of tricks are often needed, which no one will master on a freelance exchange for three kopecks.
