Is the same picture on http and https a duplicate for search engines?

Hello.
There was a question related to the transition to https and duplicates. The site is fully converted to https and all pages are redirected from http to https. But images, via a direct link, like: site.ru/image.ipg are not redirected to a secure protocol.
Is this a problem and can site.ru/image.jpg and https://site.ru/image.jpg be duplicates that hinder promotion? I didn't find any information anywhere. I will be glad to reasoned answers.
