Processor - i7 7700K.
Mother - GA-Z270XP-SLI.
Memory - ?
Supported memory in the processor specification: DDR4-2133/2400
In the motherboard up to DDR4-3866
A question arises. If I take a memory higher than 2400, will it not work at all or will it work, but at a frequency of 2400? And does this processor really not support memory with increased frequencies?

It will work at the maximum supported frequency of the 2400 processor. It makes no sense to overpay for higher memory frequencies. You can buy the simplest RAM and do not worry.
