Is the new Macbook Pro Retina good for a web designer?
Hello!
I work mainly in Photoshop CS5, drawing site layouts for ordinary users.
The width of a typical layout is 1200 pixels.
Need a workhorse out of the house, love the new macbook pro light and thin, not like the 15-shkam of the previous generation.
Question: Is his retina monitor suitable for my tasks? How can I work in standard mode?

Under 1200 pixels and PRO, the 13-inch model is suitable even with a resolution of 1440. However, if the budget allows, it is better to take Retina, where the resolution is an order of magnitude higher. The color reproduction is simply amazing.
15" retina is 1440x900 for old software and 2880x1800 for new (we're talking about Macs) by default
if Windows (parallels or bootcamp) - nothing better than explicitly telling her that I didn't find 1440x900 - scale normally Windows (7th) still can not.
I understand that the screen is beautiful.
The question is different: how comfortable will it be to work in a retina slave. space, producing layouts for customers with regular screens?))
How convenient will it be to work with screenshots?
Well, that's all.
If I were a programmer or a journalist, I would take it without problems, yes.
The MacBook is the most suitable laptop for a web designer.
And there is Sketch, which is gaining popularity.
