Is the LLC protocol currently in use?
I kind of understood this:
Ethernet is like how many wires you need and what MHz to transmit through them.
Mac well, this is the well-known poppy address, it’s also clear what you need.
But llc is where and for what? And is it currently used at all?

I know networks still running on x.25 where LLC is used. In the usual Ethernet - no.
Physics is not the whole part of Ethernet, there is a lot of logic there. For example, it can be over E1, PPP (l2tp), WDM, SCPC, and it has its own physics. Ethernet - OSI layers 1 and 2. Look at everything that is included in this concept.
