Is the iPad suitable for debugging the layout of sites for iOS?

Greetings!
When developing websites, there is always a question of debugging on iPhones and other iOS devices. I don’t use iPhones themselves and don’t want to start, so the thought arose: would the iPad of previous versions be suitable for debugging sites? If you purposefully buy a device for testing sites and web applications, a tablet may be a more versatile choice.
I would like to hear feedback from those who use iPads in development.

You need a safari. If something is wrong in the layout related to the problem in the browser, then you will see it on the ipad. In case of problems with the size of the elements, you can see everything fine on the PC.
