Is the integrated graphics card a joke?
I am assembling a system unit for basic needs, which also includes work in PremierPro, Photoshop, Unity. And when communicating with a technical consultant of a well-known retail chain specializing in computer products, he advised me, in a limited budget, it is better to take an older 8th generation Intel processor and do without a discrete video card than to take a discrete one and a simpler processor. Could this seriously work? Get by with the Intel UHD Graphics 630?
In principle, if this is a really working option, I could buy a discrete one in the foreseeable future (but in the future), and by that time have a better processor, but for now I’ll work on the built-in one, but I’m tormented by doubts - won’t I be tormented by waiting for this future and won't all projects hang up to it?)
What do you think?)
One more clarification: do all answers apply in case of 2k resolution as well?

The built-in Vega 11 in the Ryzen 2400G is quite a video card, in games FPS is 2-2.5 times higher than that of the UHD 630 and ± matches the GT1030.
Premier ProThe built-in one is definitely enough, CUDA is not even really used there, only by plugins for export. In the latest version , the export on the embedded Intel processors has been added . Tellingly, a discrete video card is still not used there...
double-edged sword - even a budget (modern) discrete will have a noticeable positive impact (tadam!) even on browsers! (well, in the sense when there is mega surfing on many, many, many open pages)
nevertheless - modern top processors already have decent graphics .. if you do not have professional volumes (but as already mentioned - then you would not ask questions ) - it is possible, and even very reasonable, to invest first in a percent, then slowly save up for a worthy discrete disc
I'm in a similar situation right now. I want to play not the most demanding games + UE4 is a little tinkering.
A friend took 8700k. The first tests showed that it is possible to work with UE4 (I think it will work with the unit as well)). You can also play something not the newest. And even at pleasant fps, even if not at ultra settings.
