Is the frontend HTML Academy profession worth it?

Tell me who knows what about HTML Academy. I want to go to intensives as a Frontend developer. Will I have enough knowledge to get started and will those test sites that I make in the learning process be considered in the portfolio as my projects?

Go, but knowledge will not be enough. In general, after any course, knowledge is not enough. Only practice.

When choosing a front-end developer for our company, we just had to wade through tons of resumes, in which there was nothing besides this HTML Academy - no work experience, on our own projects made without a mentor. This is purely a junior level, who can do something, but has neither the horizons nor the experience in solving non-standard tasks that are not taught in the courses.
Those. it will be necessary to apply for the job of a junior, otherwise we took one such for the position of middle, but he stupidly failed. Since then, we have been more meticulous in our selection of candidates and have been more skeptical about all these courses. In general, my conclusion is that courses are great for gaining knowledge. But don't expect it to give you any special advantage when looking for a job.

Everything that is taught in any courses is freely available, do not think that you will be given some kind of unique knowledge. The only plus of the courses is communication with a mentor, but do not think that you will be rushed like a chicken and an egg.

From the first flow of the profession, out of 100 people, 51 people graduated. The first stream ended in January 2018. Two months after graduation, almost half of the graduates were employed or carried out commercial orders. Now we are updating the statistics, going through the graduates, so there will be more recent data soon.
But I can already say for sure that yes - knowledge is enough to get started. For some web studio, there is enough knowledge, for a product company - it will still be necessary to pump up, but this can be done in custom development.
Of course, you can publish the code (but not the design) of the projects that you will complete in the learning process in your portfolio.

Author, pay for their online courses and honestly go through all the tasks. There are some pennies a month.
They are just great and incredibly useful

In any case, it's better than just reading books and watching videos. But if there is an opportunity to practice, even without payment, then no courses will replace this.
And don’t rely on mentors much, just like at work - if you bother you a lot, then they will simply ignore you.

If you have a weak base and you can’t solve algorithmic Olympiad problems right off the bat, then it’s too early for you to enter the profession. The course itself is quite good, but most of the cadets whom I taught come not ready and do not pull, and the course will not help such people. The course is good if you are confident programming in another language but decided to change the stack, then it will be useful.

The JS course at HTML Academy is not designed for beginners.
And the program is very badly organized.
If you are not already familiar with JS, then it is impossible to benefit from this course.
Only if you study in parallel somewhere else, and then only get the nuances
