Is the device diagram correct?

Good day to all!
The task relates to stereovision. You need to understand how to assemble a device that can process a signal from 2 cameras (OpenCV, algorithm - SURF) and display the result on the display.
The problem is that:
1. 2 cameras (in principle) cannot be mounted in one housing and cannot be rigidly fixed relative to each other. Communication between them is only via wi-fi.
2. The display and one of the cameras must be in the same housing.
3. Hardware for video processing, preferably not placed in a case with a display
Offhand, only such a scheme comes to mind, but in my opinion it's crazy

I have big doubts about the viability of the idea of transferring video from camera 1 to the board via wi-fi. And the transfer of the processed video from the board back to the screen via wi-fi.
I would appreciate ideas

640x480 will work well even at 100 megabits.
And in real time, 30 frames per second of such a video can be processed even by an inexpensive computer five years ago (just 5 years ago I did something similar), however, I can’t guarantee that OpenCV will get up there: I have never worked with it in my life. I prefer bold libraries in cases where performance is needed, do not use!

It will be difficult to calibrate cameras, especially without fixation. Is the display directly connected to wifi?
We need controllers in both cases that will manage the synchronization and transmission of video.
The video processor must be based on a powerful processor, as this operation is quite resource intensive.

For cameras, there is an open 2.4GHz band with moderately priced Transmitter-Receiver pairs on AliExpress.
