Is the browser looking for files in the old paths?

The bottom line is this:
The site plays sound conditionally along this path: /sounds/ru/ex.mp3
After transferring the file to another folder, for example: /sounds/ru/folder/ex.mp3 and changing the path in the code, many visitors to the site play from a new path.
But some are trying to look for sound in the old way, why is that?
I updated the paths 3 days ago, clearing the cache does not help.

Usually it helps to just get on the page where the sound should play from and press F5, that is, just refresh the page or you just didn’t write carefully and did something with the paths, just don’t forget to write everything in small letters, some servers are case-sensitive. Miracles don't happen :)

Check the paths, and if this is not the case, then this is already the cost of those users who do not work, the point is in them
