I am writing an article for GeekTimes, I want to insert a couple of external links into the article, but for some reason the interpreter cuts target='_blank' and the reader of the article can simply go to other sites ...
Why is that? Should I put fewer links?

Either the HTML editor just cleans up everything superfluous just in case, or they are afraid that someone will hack through windows.opener :)
